Another SOG ?

We have 7 rooms booked or the 1st week in july,Will they wait to we get there or will we hear in advance whether or not we will be close together or not?

Call WDW and let them know your party is together. We have always had good luck getting rooms together when we let them know we were all travelling together - once we went July 4th week and stayed in 5 rooms and changed resorts halfway through the week!- somehow they managed to keep us together the whole trip

Hotels do not assign rooms until you check in or just a few days before, normally, but it's always their perogative how they assign.

I'd make sure you noted on your ressies that you were all together and note the request to be located as close as possible together. SOG will never guarantee room locations, though, so do be prepared.....they should, however, try their best. It really just depends on how many rooms are vacated the day you check in....it's easier to get rooms when resorts are less full, but since SOG is nearly always full....you just have to hope for the best!
