Last summer while at WDW my dh and I bought snorkels and prescription swim masks to take with us on our cruise this year. However, we didn't buy fins or a vest. QUESTION: Will we be able to rent just the fins and the vest when we snorkel at Castaway Cay and possibly Blue Lagoon in Nassau or should we go ahead and purchase these when we arrive in Cocoa Beach? Thanks!

You don't have to pay to rent the vest, but I'm not sure about the fins. You might actually have to pay for renting the full set of equipment and just take the fins. From a purely financial standpoint, I think it's better to buy your own. However, the fins take up more room than the mask and snorkel, and packing space is sometimes at a premium. We bought mask/fins/snorkel sets for about $30 each, which is only slightly more than it costs to rent on Castaway Cay.
