Just heard on MSNBC they are investigating another shooting in Fredricksburg, VA at an Exxon Station to see if it is linked to the Snipper. They are looking for a white Astro Van. Lets hope they get a break on this soon.

well dh and i have had a vacation to williamsburg planned for many months now, and we're not cancelling.

the plan was to leave this afternoon, and we're bumping it up a bit now since the traffic will probably be horrible.

i'm sorry, but i'm not staying in my house until they find this guy. they might NEVER find him!

They just announced that they are looking for a white Chevy Astro Van with the words Total Recall on it with a luggage rack on top. Everyone in the area - keep a look out

Channel 7 news is reporting that Alexandria Police are saying that a van matching that description is stopped. Let's hope they are getting them now!!! Also, lets say a prayer for the victim, he was transported to the hospital.

ch 4 (nbc) here has said tht they have stopped about 10 white vans... on 95 but they haven't found anything yet.

This guy is getting 'bolder' by taking more chances which in turn puts him at a greater chance at getting caught. This time he shots someone at a gas station that is across from a state police barricks!! He's is really trying to make the police look bad. Maybe he's someone that got kicked out of the police academy or tried to get into a government branch. I don't know, we can all speculate but he's going to slip up soon because he's getting so cocky. I'm heading back to the CNN coverage!

I'm leaving Dodge this weekend, I have had all I can take. I'm sure our friends in Montgomery County and Northern Virginia are even more shaken. Keep safe, everyone, and say a prayer that they get this lunatic asap!

I know I am being very selfish to think of myself at a time like this but my family and extended family are leaving from NJ, travelling straight down 95 and through that area next week. I am a nervous wreck thinking of it.
I wont stop for gas if I dont have to but what are the chances of making it through Md, DC and Virginia without stopping for gas or the rest area? Slim to none. Maybe my DH will have to bring his bullet proof vest to wear while he pumps the gas. (I feel like Im only kind of joking)
I pray that this person is caught and noone else is hurt or killed. I fel awful for those living in that area- so scary.
