About a month ago, a new family moved in a few houses down from us. I had posted a small rant about the daughter always coming to our house uninvited, already in her bathing suit. We got that situation straightened out and now a new family moved into the house directly next to us. I can already see what's going to happen! Yesterday, the girl, 13 and her cousin (appeared to be around 11), decided to hop the fence on the house behind us and go swimming in their pool!! :bounce: The people are away on vacation. I originally thought they might of had permission, but almost an hour later, the mother caught them and started to scream at them! The real kick in the pants is that later on yesterday, the mother tells the girl to go over and apologize to the people (they didn't know they were away). Instead of having the girl walk around the block and knock at the front door, she sends the kids back over the fence! :earseek: I can see the problems already! :(

Your stories make me glad that there aren't a lot of kids on my street. Maybe there's a career as a diplomat for you after tactfully handling all these situations.

So sorry! Gee...maybe it's a good thing there aren't kids DS's age in our neighborhood.

At least the mother didn't approve of it, although not sure why she thought it was ok they jumped the fence.
