Another route/shortcut to Windsor Hills

On our way to WH, driving down Toll Road 429 (from the FL Turnpike) we missed our exit off US 192 (Sign said "Exit 6"; DH had written down "Exit 5"!). We got off at the next exit -Sinclair Rd. and took a left. Much to our surprise, this road ended at Old Lake Wilson Road. DH took a left, Mystic Dunes was on our left and Windsor Hills was the next development on our left! It was very close!

We totally bypassed all the lights and traffic on US 192 by taking Sinclair Rd. So when we go home in 5 days, we will get on Toll Road 429 by entering on Sinclair Rd.

We are using the shortcut from WH to WDW (via Sherberth Rd.) and love it; especially at night. When we cross over US 192 at night, we look to the left and see all the traffic that we avoided! I think I have DH convinced! (Okay, we did make a few wrong turns inside WDW trying to find the exact route, but once we found it, it worked great!)

We love WH and hope to have a trip report after we return home!

Thank for the tip. We will definatly be using the shortcut when we stay in Sept. I can see us getting a bit turned around at first . My husband always insists that maps are wrong and he is right! But hopefully it will work out for us. I will write down what you said to keep handy. Hope you had fun! Thanks
