I currently have an offer at $67.30/point. Does Disney care about if I pick up the 2005 maintenance fees? I could increase my offer to $71.15/point if the Seller agrees to pick up the 2005 maintenance fees. Here are my options:

Option 1:
Points - 520
Offer price - $67.30
2005 maintenace fees to be absorbed by buyer (me) - $2,000

Option 2:
Points - 520
Offer price - $71.15
2005 maintenance fees to be absorbed by buyer (me) - $0

Which option should I go with to decrease the possibility of ROFR?

Thanks!

DVC looks at the total value of the offer. If both options are roughly identical in total payout, it really doesn't matter which way it is structured.

If the 2005 points are stripped , I would pay more for the points and not pay for the maintenance fees. I am sure this is purely psychological but that is the way I would do it :confused3

More PD for you :wizard: :wizard:

Take a look at Beca's thread on this board. I think either deal would be ROFR'ed. If it were to go through it would be a great deal, you have nothing to lose to try for it.
