Another restaurant question

We think the food at Whispering Canyon sounds terrific, but we think eating in the castle at CRT would be fun, but have heard the food isn't that great. Also eating CRT would mean we would not have a TS meal on the Dining plan the day we arrive. (We'll only have about a half day at WDW that day) Whihc would you choose? Thanks!

We did CRT for bk and paid oop for it. It didn't seem like a good value to use 2 credits on it. The food was okay even a little on the eh side. The experience for our middle to dd was great. We also did Whispering Canyon and loved it. The food was good and so was the "entertainment". Our whole family says it is a place to go back to.

We never do TS on arrival day. There's too much we'd rather do on that day than sit in a restaurant for anywhere between one and two hours.

I don't mind spending 2 TS credits at CRT. The food is good enough, and you're in the castle, and characters, tip and photos are included.
