Do the resort TV's still have that channel that tells you what there is to do in the Walt Disney World Resort? I dont want to call it the Disney channel, but I think you know what I mean.

I loved listening to that as I fell asleep at night, and turned it on first thing in the am to wake everyone up.

I think it was a closed circut thing that only ran on Disney property. :flower:

Yes... and if I remember correctly, the tv automatically goes to that channel whenever you turn the tv on.

There are actually several of them, some devoted to the DVC and Cruises and some in Spanish. Also Radio Disney!

Now it's been years since I've been to WDW. My DW and I went on our honeymoon in 1991. But even then I remember turning on the TV first thing in the morning, and watching the events of the day scrolling across the screen, but more importantly the music. I wish I had taped the music from that darned TV from that channel. Nothing special about it - upbeat, synthesized and otherwise nondescript - but it sort of became the theme song for that trip.

Are you talking about the channel that gives the tips for park hopping and such? It plays the cute music then sings "It's a Zip a dee doo dah.......tip for today". We just love those.
