Another rave for "The Wave" !!!

It is Top of the World Lounge. If you are staying at the Contemporary or Bay Lake Tower or if you are a Disney Vacation Club member you have access to this lounge which is on top of Bay Lake Tower -- From what I have heard it has a good viewing area for the Wishes fireworks. They pipe in the music too.

We are DVC owners so we can access it -- we thought looking at the Cali menu it wasn't our price point or taste so I had asked on this forum for other suggestions which would be a close walking distance to get up to the lounge in time for fireworks. It seems Wave is almost a little hidden gem -- I had never heard of it before receiving the suggestions to eat there. I guess it is a very easy elevator ride up to the lounge -- so perfect location for us.

So I guess an average Joe like myself, who is staying @ POP and just going to the Wave for dinner, can't access this Lounge to take in the fireworks then ?

Some of our best meals in WDW have been at The Wave. It's like a little, undiscovered gem. The longest we've ever waited to be seated was 10 minutes past our ADR time, the wait staff has always been great, and we've yet to have a bad meal there. We actually have 2 dinners scheduled there for our upcoming trip. The only time we were ever bummed was when the lobby menu showed one menu and we happened to be there on change over day so were given a completely different one. I had my heart set on the gnocchi dish, but alas, that didn't happen that night!

Thats what My DD ate.....I told her how that's what I used to order at this Italian place we use to frequent... Haven't had it in a while now, but she absolutely LOVED it.

We love the Wave! Discovered it last year and have made it a regular stop since. You MUST try the bacon and eggs dinner app!

I think only if you're staying at either of those 2 resorts there, or if you're a DVC member

You need to be a DVC member, or the guest of a DVC member. Maybe you could offer a DVC member a drink if they let you become a guest?
