I am just full of questions..lol

We are towing the TT to Myrtle Beach this June and staying for 8 nights...We just wrapped up a 3 night trip to GA and as we were there we realized that other than under beds and chairs there is not much in the way of storage...I have no drawers except for the 2 in the kitchen ( I have utensils in) I was wondering what are some genius things you guys have come up with for organization...(I.E. underwear, socks, things that you can't hang up, dishes, toiletries etc. )....I just don't know how I am gonna fit 8 nights worth of stuff in the camper and still have room for DH and the kids after I put my clothes and shoes in there..:rotfl: Pictures would be appreciated too..visual aids do me a world of good..LOL

Thanks again!!!

Where do you stay in MB..? We go there every July for two weeks...

Can't help you out too much w/storage, as our vintage 1992 TT has a ton of storage..! Although I did just put up an over the door shoe holder thingy for more stuff (I've got two little girls) - fits nicely over the bathroom door (tip from other DISers). And we have a 3-drawer plastic storage unit too. That's about it for inside storage. Beach toys and shoes go in larger plastic bins outside.

Leaving on the 30th for FTW..!

We made several two week trips to FW with four adults and three kids in a TT. I found baskets that fit on the closet shelf and under the couch. Each person could pack whatever they could get in their basket or hang in the closet. Shoes were limited to a couple of pairs for each person. And don't forget you can store things in your tow vehicle once you arrive.

And where do you stay in MB? We usually go several times a year to Ocean Lakes.

We are going to be staying at Lakewood. I tried and tried to get Ocean Lakes and Pirate Land, but they are full. We are going June 25th - July 2nd. I will try the over the door shoe hangy thing. Thanks!! There is no room in the way of a 3 drawer storage unit. I have one wall where something could go and that is where the trash can goes. For some reason when we are in the camper we have a lot of trash..:confused3

Yeah, it's getting harder and harder to get ressies there too (just like FW). We started off at Pirateland, but have been going to MB Travel Park for the past 3-4 years. Less golf carts to deal with, larger sites, remodeled bath houses, trees, and each site has a covered picnic table area. Love it there! Although I must say, we have always made our ressies 1-year in advance and got the area that we wanted. Different story this summer - we are further from the beach than we've ever been! Now we will be needing the golf cart..! We'll be there 7/1-15.

Have you thought about a screen room attached to your awning..? I know I want one, but cant really justify the cost right now. DW says we really dont "need" one. It would give you an "extra room"...sort of.

T-10 days - my girls are going nuts..! Okay so am I - I've had enough of this weather...!

I would love to make my reservations a year in advance, but DH is a firefighter and they schedule all vacation time the first week of January, so as soon as he tells me what days he got off I call and schedule our vacation. I called on Jan 3rd I think it was this year and Ocean Lakes and Pirateland said, "NOPE"..I think Lakewood had 3 sites available when I booked. I am not really going for the amenities this trip because like I said earlier I used to live there so I am mainly going for a place to sleep while I go visit old friends and such, so Lakewood will be fine this time around. I am itching to go back to WDW right now, but DH says he is through giving the mouse his money for a little while, but I REALLY want to go stay at the FORT!!! We went over there on our last trip just to look around and I was IN LOVE!!!

I have thought about a screenroom and would like to have one too, but I am liek your DW and cannot justify the cost at this moment. I am getting ready to buy a cover for it in the next few days so it stays nice and pretty and not weathered. We have a few things that need to be fixed (new shower head, new seals around the tub, new faucet in the outside shower, and water filter) before our trip to the beach and I am sure we will do a few little weekend trips here close by before then.

I know you can get storage shelves that suspend from the ceiling, if that would help you. Otherwise the idea of outdoor storage for 'outdoor things' sounds like a good'un. You could also buy a small, cheap tent to pitch on your site and use that as an outdoor closet.

I pack everyone's outfit for each day we're gone in a large ziploc bag. That way the boys can get their own clothes on. Rolling the clothing helps too. Then I keep a large garbage bag on hand and put all the dirty clothes into that. We keep that in the bed of the truck so it's out of the way. We also use a lot of the plastic milk crates to keep stuff in. They stack very nicely. We just bought a 21' TT last November and traded the pop up in on it. I'm very anxious to use it. Compared to the pop up, I have tons more storage space!!!
