If you valet park is there still a time limit at a resort? I know that if you go to a resort where you aren't staying ie CR to visit Chef Mickeys you have a three hour limit. Do you still have that limit if you valet park? Wondering if we can valet the car and pop over to MK for Wishes after Chef Mickeys.

You do at the Poly. Don't know about other resorts but the MK ones are pretty strict.

When I had dinner at Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian a few weeks ago, I valet parked the car. By the end of the dinner, it was quite evident that none of the people in the party were in any condition to drive. We arranged for alternate transportation to Pleasure Island and then back to the Boardwalk. It wasn't until the next day that I was able to get back to the Grand Floridian and pick up the car. I turned the ticket in and the car came around. No one said a word.

We parked at the CR last December for Chef Mickey's. Nobody mentioned anything to us about a 3 hour limit. The CM just waved us in and point to the lot. We parked, wandered around. took the monorail to the other resorts and checked out the decorations, ate at Chef Mickey's and then wandered around some more. I know we were there over 3 hours.

Its my understanding that the 3 hour limit only applied to self-parking... that being said... we have valet parked and self-parked at CR/GF/Poly/BWI and never had a problem no matter how long we stayed.

**Note to DIS Police - yes I know I am a terrible person for parking at the resorts - no need to flame me***

In July we ate at the Cal grill and then went to e-ride nite after, and they were cool about it (said "no problem"). Had to find someone to get it out of valet at 1:30am.

As far as I know, there is no time limit if you valet. We always drive to other resorts for meals and stuff and we often leave the car with the valet for several hours (for ex, did Chef Mickey's for breakfast once, then went to MK, then went to Epcot and did not pick car back up until 6 at night). No one has ever said a word about a time limit in that regard.
