When my own kids were babies (and for my 13 year old grandson) I always used those sleeper things with feet - both for sleeping and up time. I thought they were warm and practical and I only dressed them up for special occasions.
When I gifted my DIL with some she gave me a withering look and said "do you expect me to keep them in pajamas all day." I also gave her a lot of very cute onsies which she never used.
How do you feel about the sleeper things? Someone recommended onsies and I plan on buying a few.
I am sure DD's friends will give her a shower. They are all having babies now.
My DD Sarah is the least fussy person on earth. She told her bridesmaids she didn't care what shoes they wore - Birkenstocks if that's what they wanted were fine. I took all the girls to the hairdresser who told me it was the most relaxed bridal party she had ever seen.
Of course Sarah will choose the big stuff, but I cannot wait to start buying some of the little things.
Do the strollers with carseats also have the bases someone talked about?
And she asked me to stay for a few weeks after her maternity leave expires because she doesn't want to put the baby in daycare until she has to. I said yipee to myself and reluctantly (yeah right) said ok. Wonder if DH can manage by himself for a year or two - or until the baby starts school!!
