Another question about taxi's....

Just wondering when you book a taxi - can you book a return journey with them there and then?

When we go to Mass we take a taxi to church and ask the driver to come back in an hour to pick us up. We've been doing this for several years and so far it has worked. I suggest you give the driver a "good" tip, which we do, to insure his or her return.

If you book with Mears you can...and they don't require a whole lot of lead time to get pick you up should you decide to take a car last minute.
