Another question about Disney Visa

I have a few hundred dollars in disney rewards saved up. I would like to put them toward my upcoming trip. How do I go about cashing these in and using them towards the balance of the trip? If I don't use them for that, is there other ways that I can use them while we are at Disneyworld in Sept?

I always take mine on our trip to use for the extras. I've used them in plenty of locations, especially at DTD. Makes buying that goodie much easier

You can use thie Disney Rewards dollars virtually everywhere at WDW - virtually all stores, restaurants and even the portable carts will accept them (restaurants at S and D do not accept, but the store there does).

When you want to use the Rewards dollars, they get transferred to a card which you then use like a credit card or gift card to spend the Rewards dollars. To cause this transfer to occur, call the 800 number on the card or go to the Disney Visa card website and you can do it there.

I finally applied for a Disney Visa. Hopefully, it will come soon. I'm planning to buy things like groceries & gas with it & pay it off each month so those reward points can start adding up!!

I believe that you can call up CRO and read the information off the card. I always use my card to pay for park passes.

You have to transfer them to a Disney gift card (online or by phone) which takes a few weeks to get to you, so make sure you do that early enough. You can always transfer MORE onto an existing card later if you need to.

I use ours for all our dining costs on the trip. It ends up being like free dining if we have enough saved up! Then I don't feel so bad about eating at a couple of pricey places while we're there.

When we've had a nice amount of rewards to use, we usually go to the front desk the day before checking out and use the rewards towards our bill. Then, the following day, when we get the final bill that's put under our door, we feel like we're have an inexpensive WDW vacation.
