Another Question about 180 + 10

We are using Disney Dining Plan and are approaching our 180 day window for ADR's. (our vacation is 5/11-5/18) We weren't going to use any table service credits for the day of our arrival. Would that mean that I can't logon to make our ADR's until the morning of the 12th for the 180+10 window? I think I'd rather pay out of pocket for a sit-down somewhere that first night, just to have a better shot at getting some of our "much coveted" resies for later in the trip!

Your 180 day window starts the day of your arrival. So you can schedule them then.
Now when you check in you don't have to use them that day, they are credits issued that can be used at your discretion.

So if you want to pay OOP that first night you can do so, or you can use your credits all in one day if that is what you choose as well.

It's not that I'm worried about using up our credits. I have that planned down to the last detail.

What concerns me is when does the day 180 start? Is it the first day we are on property, or the first day we use a reservation? Since we weren't going to need a reservation until the second day of our trip, I wondered if we would actually loose out on a day that I could have been calling to book the tables. We're really hoping to score ADR's for LeCellier and also for Coral Reef, so I know it's going to be like trying to win the lottery!

You can book 180 days from when you ARRIVE.
