Another Ques. Kids' Club Counselors

Before I buy these gift cards, I need to know how many I need!
My girls are 11 & 12, so they'll be in the same kids club. How many counselors will be handling my kids?

I don't think there's an easy answer to that question. There were so many people! And there were different ones at different times in the club.

But, if it helps ... In the kids' Navigator (this is for 8-9 year olds, mind you), there are pictures of 11 counselors.

I don't think I will have any money left over! I think I'll get a few and then ask the girls which CM's were most helpful to them.

Last year for our cruise I bought 20 $5 gift cards from walmart. I think there were about 4 counselors that my DD spent time with that she really liked (believe me, by the 2nd trip to the club, the kids will know, who is nice, who is mean, and who is "SO COOL MOM"). I gave each of them $15 dollars worth of gift cards, and I gave $25 worth to Que who was in charge of entertainment. He made our cruise great, and I think I brought the rest home with me and used them myself. Did the same for my cruise coming up. Don't stress it, there were a lot of people that we spoke to that gave NOTHING to the counselors, that to me was tacky. But if you feel comfortable with that more power to you. Give what you feel you can afford, that should be your criteria.

But that is a great idea, to get small denominations and then double or triple up!
I think I'm also going to get Wal-Mart cards, because on one of the DIS'ers photo pages, I saw inside a CM stateroom and I noticed the hairspray, deodorant, that type of stuff, and I also realize they do not get paid a whole lot, it's more for the experience, and I figured that a Wal-Mart gift card would be just as appreciated.
