Another Princess in Town - Day Two - Part 2
Back to park on bus 3.30. Used buzz fp from earlier - no probs even though the time was 12 on it.
Watched parade from disabled area opposite castle. Lovely view of princesses dancing.
Only error was forgetting to have a toilet stop before parade DD was desperate and there was no where to go with the parade on.
Walked to studios to see cars parade (alot had the same idea!) DD fell asleep in pram.
Had a look/spend (90e!)in the studios shop. I wrote some prices of princess accessories down. Will post when I find the bit of paper. Luxury dresses were 75e!!!
Disabled area for parade was opposite the stage. We settled down, DD had her first ever calipo 2.80e and me water 2.50e.
Really liked this parade as did DD. Cars were really bright and princesses aswell as sully, mickey etc. The princesses danced on stage which DD loved. Whilst the show was on the characters met the guests behind the stage as obviously they couldnt see the show although they did eventually go to all sections Mulan was lovely with DD asking her name and signing her book
Park then shut at 7. DD was still hyper due to nap so went to rainforest cafe. We went quickly after parade and were seated quickly but big queues a few mins later. Never been before I liked and DD really liked i didnt know we were going to the zoo she thought it was really going to rain.
DD had the chicken nuggests which she wasnt overly keen on (they were cheap beaks and eyeballs ones!) I had the trio of salads which id seen a picture of on here lovely. Will do a review in the proper bit later. Overall a big hit.
Anna ate her pudding a push up smarties icecream on the stroll back to the hotel.
Village and around the lake were busy alot of families on those bikes you hire. Alot trying to get kids to burn off energy. Seemed madness that the park shut so early when so busy. Alot of English I suspect tagging on to half term and French on a long weekend due to the bank holiday.
Back at the hotel I packed and got stuff ready for our last day (needed to make sure I had everything we needed with us as I wouldnt see the case after drop off at 8am).
DD still full of it (coke/nap/adrenalin)I came across our swimming things and in a flash of inspiration thought we could go swimming...it was 9.20 and reception said we had to be in by 9.30 for 10pm closing. We made it. Took towels from our room no one said anything. (I thought 4e for towel hire was cheeky) Alot did the same.
Indoor pool was open and not overly busy. DD loved it and I made sure she swam around alot!!
Ran back to the room (which wasnt far) with towels around us then bath and bed. DD was still talking when I fell asleep.
