I'll echo Mom2Ben02's sentiments: I had a blast too! I didn't see any lime green ribbons while I was there, but honestly I wasn't looking too hard-- sorry

-- but there were just a lot of people everywhere and I was concentrating on making it to the next attraction.
POP was excellent!!! I would definitely stay there again, especially at $49/night. Parking wasn't bad around the 50s building, and I understand the 80s/90s wasn't bad either. I think the 60s and 70s lots are the ones that are usually full. Oh, I also have to mention that I checked in at 7:15am on Friday morning and my room was ready!!! That was something completely unexpected and a welcome surprise.
The rooms were nice and new! I had NO problems with mousekeeping, temperature control, plumbing etc. But that's not to say someone else might (as I've been reading in other threads). The food court was always bustling, but the lines moved at a decent pace. Just make sure your expectations are on par with the amenities of a value resort and you'll enjoy your stay.
The crowds at the parks were very manageable. I did AK and MGM (Fantasmic only) on Friday, IOA and Epcot on Saturday, MK and Epcot on Sunday, and MGM and AK on Monday. The rain on Sunday kept crowds at MK light, but the sun broke through in the early afternoon and the crowd started to swell. MGM was pretty crowded on Monday, but we were there at rope drop and managed to hit all the highlights by Noon and were off to AK. Note: I think they were only running one side of ToT that day, so, if you didn't get to it by 11am, the standby line was very long, with FPs available for about 4-5 hours later. There was a cheerleading competition that weekend too at WWOS, but I honestly didn't see any cheerleaders until my return flight. I did run into some High School senior class trips, but they were generally well behaved in my limited contact with them.
Overall, a great trip! POP was very cool and I managed to hit everything in the parks that I wanted too. Now, I just need to figure out when I can return for another trip.
