Another point transfer question.

Why is this so confusing! Help! Here's my situation. I am making a reservation for January 2015. I have two different contracts. I have 93 2015 AKV points with an April use year that I will need to make the reservation. Am I right that I cannot transfer these points to my other contract and then borrow them to make the reservation. I can't borrow transferred points, and i can't transfer borrowed points. Do i have this right?

Is my only option then to make two separate reservations?

Can you transfer the other points to the April UY? Then you can borrow the 93 points and use the transferred points for 1 reservation.

Thanks! No I can't transfer to the April use year because I run into the same situation with needing to transfer borrowed points. I'm thinking 6 nights with my 1 contract, and a separate additional night with the other contract is my best option right now.

Don't forget up to 24 one-time use points to enable you to use up all of your points in a each contract, and leave no "orphans."

We haven't forgotten those guys. Our strategy is to get 6 nights today, we will need to buy 6 one time use points. And then to get the 7th day when the 7 month window opens up using the AKV points.

Aaargh! I'm finding my inability to get this all straight a bit amusing. So I called to reserve my 6 nights, but if course I couldn't because I can't buy the extra points until the seventh month mark (next week). So I have 5 nights and will hopefully be able to add on the 6th next week, then the 7th night a few days after that as a separate reservation with my akv points.

Anybody else get so flustered trying to make points from multiple contracts, multiple resorts and multiple use years work for you? Looking back I definitely would have gone with the same use year for my two resorts just to keep things a little simpler.
