Another pin? What's going on?

A few months ago I received a room only, 20% off pin for and booked POR 10/28 to 11/3.
today I was emailed this:

With the NEW pin: I am pricing out POR with QS dining and park tickets for $1560.88 for 2 adults with MYW tix (no park hopper)

What do you all think?
I have no idea how I got 2 pins (1 after I booked)!

Have you compared the numbers? Whichever way it saves you the most is the way to go. From your post, looks like the second offer is better, but I didn't crunch the numbers. Not sure why you got two offers, but good for you! I got a post card offering 30% off resort stay until the end of Jan 2013,but unfortunately won't be able to use it. Good luck and have a great trip!

a little difficult to compare apples to apples as we were not doing a MYW package before (would have bought tickets through AAA) and done room only, no dining.
However, it seems that the additional cost for dining (~$200) over the original pin will be well worth it. I also like the idea of prepaying for my meals.
It seems like this is a 30-33% savings off rack depending if you do QS or dining plus (with TS).
I hope others get this pin as well

What were the dates for this pin? I am curious if it was one of the new ones sent out this morning which are for the free dining through December.

YES! I have been calling all week for a pin code and magically today my husband had FD under his name for Dec! I am not sure of all of the dates but we had to check in by Dec 13 to get free dining for our entire stay. We were hoping to check in on Dec 15 or 16.

For anyone wondering changing to 11/4-11/9 would save us ~$60. We want to be at DIS for Halloween though so we won't switch. Hoping this info helps someone else!

Oh I so need that FD pin. We are checking in on 11/16 and taking 2 families who have never been before. This code is HUGE for us and we have been planning the trip on the hopes it would come out.

It doesn't say "free dining" anywhere on the pin- but it is about a 30-33% savings off rack.
