Another Photopass ?

We have never done this before...only went for one day last time. So, I am wondering how it works. They take our pic and put it on a card and then I have to take all the cards at the end of the trip to the booth so I can buy it when I get home???

You can create an account at home before or after you go and upload the cards to your account from there. Then you can edit/ play with all your photos and order the CD.
I think you can preorder the CD from the park but then you can't edit the pics? Not sure about this last one.
But we ordered ours from home after our last trip. You have 30 days to order your stuff after you upload the pics.

They will keep adding your pics to the same card (or multiple cards if you choose). Then you add the code on the card when you create your account at home. You can do it in the park to save $3 on shipping but you won't be able to add borders or edit the photos. Many times they have $15 off or "free shipping" discounts online. And, you do NOT need to set up your account before your trip. No need.

No, no limit.

I've made it to almost 1000 photos after the edits last time. I got two CDs, but that's all.

Ok now I'm confused. The photopass is for the pictures taken by the disney CM, is that correct? How do you get a 1000 pics? Thanks!

It's actually pretty easy once you start adding different borders, sayings, sizes etc, available through the photopass sight.

Yes CMs take them at various locations in the parks.

You can stop by multiple locations, or the same locations more than once. They will take a few each time. This is how you accumulate so many. Though 1,000 is a lot. But when you edit them by accessing your account that has the photos it starts to make duplicates.

The photos never go on a card. The card has a number on it. The photos are held on the website. You have your card scanned each time pictures are taken. Then you goto the website put the card number in and the photos will display in your account.

Do we have to pay for these Photopass photos to be taken? Or just pay when we order them afterwards? And when you order them after, are they sending you actual prints, or are you paying for the right to print them yourself?

Sorry, I just haven't heard of this before. Is there more info on Photopass somewhere that I missed?

Wanted to mention that you can raise your total pictures to a high number with edits because each time you save an edit, it saves it as a separate picture. You always keep the "base" picture, and edits are just another picture.

I once turned 2 pictures into 50 just by editing....Didn't order them, but it was a fun way to pass the time!

Also be sure to save them in the different sizes if you want to print different sizes. They are cropped differently depending on the size.

You can order prints, download the pic with rights to print them, or order a CD of all your pictures and the rights to print them. Or order photo products.

Sorry to hijack but a quick question. I got the CD 4 years ago and i cannot remember the answer to this question.

Can i print the pictures from home or at a CVS (or the like) or do i HAVE to order from Disney?

When you buy the CD you are also buying the rights to print them wherever you want. The photo rights are included with the CD on a piece of paper and mine also has it as one of the images on the CD.

You can buy prints from Disney.

Or you can get the CD and put them on your computer. this will give you digital copies to do whatever your like with. Such as ordering them from snapfish or putting on a card and taking it to CVS or the like.
