Yes, another PP+ question. Not sure how to do a search on this type of question so I'm hoping someone will just humor me and answer even though its probably been asked a million times.

We plan on being in DL in April. Let's say we buy the PP+, we start using it on April 5. We return home eight days later. I am going back May 9-11 with my mom. So it would be over 30 days.

Can I add to the photos from the May trip to the April trip? If so, this would be ideal.

I am assuming there is no way it will work, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I usually do not purchase PP+ since we have been so many times, but both trips we are going with people that either have not been or haven't been for years, so I would like to make memories for all. TIA

When you buy photopass+, it is only good for 14 days once you pick up your card in a park at Disneyland. When you pick up the card, they hole punch the date the card expires and the photographers are not supposed to add pictures to the card after that date. So, if you pick up the card on April 5, it will be punched that it expires on April 19. That would mean that on your 2nd trip ride and meal photos would no longer be included and you could no longer use that card.

As far as your photopass account, you can add non photopass+ cards to the account and they are included, so I think you could get it where you could keep the photos in your account past that time. Used to, you had 30 days to claim them (inputtin the photopass+ and photopass card numbers in the website) and then 30 days to edit. WDW changed those timelines, but I'm not sure if DL did. If that is the case, if you did not log into the website and claim them until close to the end of that 30 days, the other 30 days would take you past the 2nd trip. Even if DL changed that timeline and if they expire before the end of your next trip, I think you are within the time that you can buy an extension that would take you past that date. You could add the regular photopass cards from your second trip to the account, and I THINK (but I'm not positive) that when you orderedyour CD that you got with photopass+ they should all be on it from both trips. One question is whether DL is still doing the physical CD? WDW, which now uses a different "photopass" website and calls it memory maker has abandoned the CDs and gone to all downloads- which I'm not sure if you could download all the later ones if that is the case. I still think maybe you can, but maybe someone else can help you for sure. All I know for certain is that you can only use the photopass+ card itself and can only get the ride and meal photos for 14 days from the date the card was picked up.

So for this the answer is 'yes' and 'no'!
For the Photopass+ you have 14 days from the first day you use it to collect ride and character meal photos. So you could not get ride and character meal photos from both trips on one Photopass+.

However you probably could get both lots of photos taken by Photopass photographers around the park on the one CD/ Download.

Once you start having photos taken you have 30 days to claim them, that is 30 days to login to the website and enter your Photopass number to get them in the account. You then have another 30 days in which to order the CD (and make any edits etc.)

You could get a normal Photopass card, that the photographers give you for free, get photos on that for the 2nd trip and then add that card to your account and as long as you order the CD before the (2nd lot of) 30 days for the first lot of photos they will all be on your CD.

I.e:
May 1st: Start using PP+
Take all ride and character photos by May 14th.
Take normal PP photos
Add to online account by May 30th.
Have to order CD by June 30th.

Go to parks again any time between May 1st and say June 29th.
Use normal PP card. Add those cards to account by June 30th and order CD by June 30th, all photos will be on the prepaid CD/ Download.

Hope that makes sense!

Yes, it does! Thank you so much. I think this would totally work. I just wouldn't be able to get ride photos or character meals on the second trip if I'm understanding it right since they aren't the normal PP photos. And even if that is the case, I think it would be the smartest way to go.
