do you print out your photos and put them in albums? I haven't for a couple years now, but I feel like I look at them more on the computer anyway.
but I still feel compelled to print them and put them in albums.
what do you do with photos?

I make photobooks now with my publisher (there are many companies you can check out on-line). I make one every year (work on it all year), get the nice leather cover (it's expensive, but SO worth it). I don't use EVERY single pic I have on my computer - just the ones that look good, tell the story of what was going on, or show something I'll want to remember (even how our backyard looks, etc). It's really worth it.

I was thinking of doing this. In fact I started one of our last disney trip, using snapfish.
good idea doing it by the year.
when I print off photos and put them in books, I label the books for what time period they cover.
I tend to print off way too many too!

is my publisher an online place you use? or do you mean you have a publisher? ( you write books?)

never mind, I just googled it, should have done that first! :)

that's funny! :rotfl:

yea, the one on-line. and I forgot to mention, I get 2 of the same book, because I have 2 kids, and I figure since these aren't REAL pics you can pull out of an album, they'll each have their own if they want them someday. There's usually a buy one/get one 50% off or even free (of the same book) deal, so it's still worth the money.

Yep, I still get mine printed and make scrapbooks with them. In fact, I just finished our March WDW trip not five minutes ago. :thumbsup2

how about saving pics.
external hard drive, cd, dvd, or all 3?

can you tell I am in an organizing mood!:rotfl:

then the question of what about the pictures prior to getting a digital camera.
I have about 3 years of pics of my dd that are on film.

this can become an obsession really!! I was thinking of scanning them into the computer, but that is really a daunting task.
wish there was a way to take the negatives and get them into the computer as prints. or maybe there is and I just don't know how LOL

Back in the days of film, I was very good about getting developed pictures into albums (nothing fancy usually, just the slip-in ones). But now that I shoot digital, and they're not staring at me from a stack on my kitchen counter, I have way too many just sitting in my computer! I do scrapbook some, and I find that a lot of fun. I just don't quite keep up with how many pictures I take.
