Would anyone be willing to post a link to their photo albums online? I'd like to compare the quality of some of the different sites. I'd like to know what you think about ease of use, restrictions, etc.
I have links in my signature, Doc, to several threads. Those pictures in those threads are all hosted on http://www.worldzone.net/plus.html. I have been pleased with them overall. As for quality, those pictures are pretty weak, mainly for ease of viewing, not printing. They are only about 40k each. If you have any questions, please pm or email me.
I use image station - by sony, and snapfish. Snapfish does a beautiful job of printing digital pics, and they also develop film fairly cheap. Ironically the snapfish site is down for maintenance at the moment, but once they're back up i'll post a link to an album for you. I haven't received anything from image station, however we had a bound book made from them, which should be coming any day now, and I'll let you know how that turns out. As of ease of use, I find snapfish to be much more user friendly. I think image station has a nicer look to it when other people are going in to look @ your photos.
Free. I have ALOT of pics there. Easy --even for my 73 yr old dad who also uses it. You can type ALOT of text to describe pictures.
CONS: Can't link picture directly to posts --- or at least I THINK you can't.
I've had issues with Webshots. They were deleting some of my Disney scrapbook pages. They said it was copyright infringement. ??????? No problems with Epson deleting anything! I can't put a Disney scrapbook page on Epson but it is ok with them to post pics of 1/2 naked women????
