I am trying to plan our sch., how long is dinner at palos?

Thank you!
(I have officially enter the crazy level of planning)

That is entirely up to you....they dont rush you...You can stay for hours if you would like..... ::yes::

It also depends on if you order the most popular dessert there....the chocolate suffle...That takes 30 minutes to make....I must say..its work the WAIT!!!!!::yes:: :D They askes us if we wanted it when we order our meals....since it took a while to bake. I think we were in there about 1 1/2 hours...

Dinner at Palo can be as long or as short as you'd like to make it.
The one thing I have never seen them do is try to rush you. Only thing they like to know is if you're having the chocolate souffle since that has to be made per order and takes some time.

I think on average maybe we've been there about an hour and a half to just over two hours for dinner. I'm a very slow dinner person.

And, may I suggest, that you DO order the chocolate souffle. I mean, it's unfathomable to go to Palo's w/out ordering the wonderful, to-die-for, chocolate souffle! I want some now.:(

Paul--

I think that's one of the great things about cruising. Dinner is not just the rushed meal that we often make of it at home but an event extravaganza! Even in the main restaurants Travis and I love to take our time, enjoy the company of our tablemates, have a nice meal, and just enjoy the atmosphere.

...AND have it with BOTH the chocolate and vanilla sauces!

I could swear I read on one on the hundreds of threads about Palo that you could order the chocolate souffle only and eat it at the bar without a reservation. Does anyone know anything about this? Even better would be the ability to order it from room service and eat it on my verandah!

DH isn't sold yet on going to Palo with me (he's a real meat and potatoes kind of guy:rolleyes: ), so I'm thinking at the moment that I will go to the brunch solo... I'd really like to try the souffle though!

Carla

I recall reading the same thing about ordering the souffle and enjoying it at the Palo bar...don't ask me when, it was a few months ago.

Just a friendly bump, can you really just have dessert at Palo?
