Another OT: No wonder why I feel like crap!

it is an amazing experience having twins. I have indentical twins that are 34 now. when i had them i had a 4yr old and a 2yr old then went on to have 2 more babies. it is the best yrs of my life. it was extremily hectic, but worth every second. your children will be very helpful. i'm sure you are all excited. enjoy every minute, they grow soooooo quickly.

How wonderful!

I have an identical twin sister who is visiting me right now (until Wednesday) and we're great friends 'til this day. I thank our mom each day for putting up with us as babies. lol j/k

You are certainly doubly blessed. :goodvibes

Wow - what a wonderful blessing to your family!! There is nothing better than a brand new baby - except if you are lucky enough to get 2. I'll say a prayer for your babies and continued good health throughout your pregnancy! :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

Congrats!!!! WOW!!!

I had my tubes sniped after my last one and I liked the fact that I had it done. Like you I decided I did not want anymore children...I just did not feel my body could handle anymore, so I got sniped.

Also, I can highly recommend a vehicle for you...we have a Ford Excursion and LOVE it!!! It is very comfortable seats 8 (9 if you don't get the console in the center of the front seats). All three of my girls can sit in the bench seat in the middle and they are very comfortable. One of my friends who has six children has one of these as well and she loves it and her kids all fit in there comfortably. I know it is a gas guzzler :scared1: , but it fits our lifestyle (we pull a 29ft travel trailer with it) and I also feel that with all the SUV's out there today, my family is safer in this truck!!

Anyway, good luck with the rest of the pregnancy!!

:wave2:

Congrats, what a surprise! We have twins (2 yrs old now)!!! Wasnt sure if c-sect needed til last minute (no risk premature labor, they didnt want to come out ;) ) both babies were turned so had to do c-sect, was fine! Get as much rest as you can, two babies is much more than mathematically twice the work of one baby....hopefully you'll get LOTS of help from their big bro/sis & DH too!!! Heck, anyone who offers, TAKE THE HELP!!! :teeth: Congrats! :flower:

Congrats!!!!

I had my tubes tied an hour after Ash's birth. They actaully kept my epidual in after birth (she was induced 9 days late, I had pregnancy complications with all 4 pregnanies) and redosed it once I got down there to make sure everything was very numb again. I was awake the whole time with some kind of relaxation drug added to so I wasn't scared. After she tied and cut she showed me the tubes.

Another mom of twins here saying howdy :wave2: and congrats! I found out I was having twins only after going to the doctor because I felt so absolutely lousy, too. My older kids were 6 and 9 at the time. I strongly encourage you to seek out a Twins or Multiples Club in your local area and join - you will get lots of support from them, and they will understand your "twin issues" much more than singleton moms can. You take EXTRA care on your Disney trip, too! :flower:

I think that if I do get a C then I'm going to just go ahead and get my tubes tied. Mark isn't broke so I'm not going to fix him. I think I have more of an issue with it than he does :rolleyes1 . If I do deliver naturally then I'll just wait until I'm better to go in for that surgery. No more kids for Cadence!
