I can address this.

When you sign up, you are asked for your credit card info.

This information will be held until we have the 30 people necessary for this trip to happen.

Once we have the 30 people, we will let everyone know that we will begin processing payments.

Please keep in mind that you will need to make your full and final payment and the payment is non-refundable due to the proximity of the departure date.

If you have questions that you'd rather not ask in a public forum...please feel free to email me at Kevin@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.

I'm happy to help.

I have not heard this mentioned, but this could move someone off the fence of going on this trip. In addition to all of the amazing stuff that are part of the normal ABD trip, there could be an additional treat. In July, Toy Story 3 should be playing at the El Capitan Theater and they were telling what special things they were doing for that and it sounded amazing! My wife and I were even considering making a trip to CA just for that. :rolleyes1 Sorry to add to anyone's torment if they are wrestling with this decision, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

(OK, I'll take my sales hat off now) :lmao:

Hi Susan! So nice of George to introduce us! :lmao: Keep me posted on your summer teaching plans - out of my skin excited! :yay:

Just signed up for the trip...:dance3:

Probably should be saving this money but could not resist after hearing the podcast.

The signup page says " *** Waitlist*** " ... is it full already?

I think it is "waitlist" until they get enough. Although with this crowd, it could be full already.

Yeah, tell me about it! I need at least a couple of days to try and convince (OK...beg) my wife to go!

Oh what to do:

Cancel my pre-cruise week and PCC 2.0 OR go on this ABD adventure????

Let's see the lottery is on Friday and it is at $31 million. Now all I have to do is win and I can to both.....:cool1::cool1:

Isn't life full of difficult decisions?

Now, if you DID win that lottery, you'd be kind enough to share with a fellow Virginia DISer, RIGHT?

A piddly little $5k for me and DW to go on ABD would do. Great, thanks! :thumbsup2

It's a bit confusing, but everyone is waitlisted until we reach the required number of people needed to guarantee travel.

The minimum is 30. The maximum is 40.

There are spaces still available for anyone that wants to go.

Once this trip reaches capacity, there will be no more waitlist.

Once we reach the magic number of 30, we will begin charging people's credit cards that have already registered.

As you will be required to pay in full and the fact that it is entirely non-refundable, you should be certain that you want to go when you register.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at Kevin@DreamsUnlimitedTravel.com

Darn. This is just another one of those DIS events that I'd kill to go to, but it just doesn't work for me.

Maybe someday... :worried:

Me too. I love the idea of everything involved with this trip (I would definitely be one of those people closing the park at every chance), and listening to the podcast about it was torturous.

Ah well, like you said, maybe someday.

Sigh. Yet another awesome event that I'm not able to attend.

But seeing as how I'm giving birth sometime around there, it probably wouldn't be a good idea. :goodvibes

Man, life gets in the way of a Disney habit, doesn't it??? :rotfl:

Would you rather be with 40 DISers or 700 DISers?

Both are fabulous oppotunties for a good time.

What exactly is included in the price? The Dreams Unlimited website says 5 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 dinners...does that mean we're on our own for the rest? Does it include transportation to and from the airport? Can I bring snacks and bottled water on the tours? I have low blood sugar so I wouldn't be able to wait hours between eating, especially if we're very active during the day. What happens if one of us gets sick during the trip?

You are on your own for a couple of meals during your Adventure.

Transportation from and back to the airport is included in the price as long as you remain under an ABD reservations. If you book pre- or post- nights on your own, ABD will not provide transportation. If you book your pre- and /or post- nights through ABD, transportation is included.

You are allowed to bring water and snacks on the bus and most tours. ABD provides snacks and water when traveling by bus. There are certain places you enter where food and beverages are not allowed. Your Adventure guides would be sure to make sure you were covered everywhere you went.

If someone gets sick, you would need to visit a DR or hospital depending on the severity. You would be responsible for all medical costs unless you purchased travel insurance. Please keep in mind that there can be extenuating circumstances that accompany the purchase of travel insurance (pre-existing conditions etc) but that can be discussed with the insurance company prior to purchasing the insurance

I also want to add that the Adventure Guides are super attentive to everyone who travels with them and very responsive when issue come up.

As an example we were in Disneyland one morning and Pete's blood sugar was dropping fast. Many of us knew what to do to help him but the guides immediately stepped in and got him a soda and something to snack on - one guide even stayed with him while the rest of us continued on one part of the tour. After a few minutes Pete was fine and we met up with him as we continued the tour.

Also, the day we were at Mickey's of Glendale we came out of shopping and Kevin and I were really thirsty - I was starting to feel dehyrdated (first rule of power shopping, drink plenty of fluids and carbo-load).

Anyway - I asked one of the guides where I can buy a bottle of water and without hesitation he got me into the cafeteria where the imagineers eat. At the time I didn't realize what he had to go through to get me in (they are apparently very strict) but it was seamless to me and I got my water and was happy.

Please don't let the fear of illness stop you from doing this adventure. You will be in good hands.

One last thing - even if you weren't traveling with DISers everyone on these Adventures really bond and look out for each other. On our Italy adventure it was like traveling with family - and they were complete strangers. We had two kids on our trip and we all watched out for them and everyone kept an eye on Kevin and I as we were the slow walkers and always at the back of the group.

I hope this helps.
