Greetings all!

As I understand the bedroom setup in an OKW GV you have the master bedroom with a king size bed, a 2nd bedrm with 2 queen beds, and a 3 room with 2 double beds.

If this is correct, has anyone tried to rearrange the last bedroom and push the 2 double beds together to make 1 larger bed? Can anyone confirm that it is possible? ie the furniture isn't bolted down?

TIA!

Michelle

I think you would be able to move the beds in the bedroom. The BR with double beds will be the first one at the top of the stairs.

Enjoy! :)

None of the beds at OKW are "bolted down". You might need to take one of the extra blankets and roll it up to put in the crack between the beds though. FYI, the double bed room is a bit smaller than the queen room also. It does have a sink and dressing area outside the bathroom though, which is nice. Our last GV trip, we had one youngster who couldn't sleep in the same room with her Dad's snoring, so she took her pillow and the cushions from the sofa (someone else was already on the sofa bed), and made a bed on the landing/sitting area balcony above the living room. LOL, we told her she was lucky the living room person didn't also snore!

Thanks guys~

We're still just tossing around ideas - no one is going to want the pullout for sure, but of 3 couples - hubby and I are the shortest so we fit better on a double- it seems cruel to ask a guy who's 6'4" to sleep on a double; and share it with his wife LOL.

2 bdrm + studio still a possibility but general consenus so far is people want to go for the GV...

now we've just got to buy in :rotfl: :rolleyes1

We may do a GV next summer and I was wondering if all the GV at OKW are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Or are some 1st and 2nd floor? Thanks.

All but the HA one in building 48 are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Also, there are GVs in building 63 where there is an elevator, but one of those is also a HA unit.

Thanks, Diane. Another question-Is the main difference between a regular GV and HA GV just wider doorways and easier access in the bathrooms or is there some other difference?

The HA ones have roll-in showers in the master bedroom only, and MIGHT have lower counters in the kitchen. I'm not sure about that last one. I know some HA units do, but not sure about the GV.
