Another number

I have been trying the 1800 number for while and cannot get through. Do not have my card with me, but have my memeber number. Is there another number that I could try?

407-566-3800. I had to keep redialing for about 5 minutes this morning to get through on the 800#, I would keep trying.

For anyone interested, I couldn't get through on the 800# this morning either and after a few calls tried the 1-407 # and got right through. If you have long distance on your phone or the extra mins on your cell phone it's totally worth it

I have been trying all day, both from home and on my cell. Has the number changed or something,? I tried to type the number here but it came out as asteriks for some reason. I will try again (800)********? Can't figure out why their lines are consistenly busy. I know it is not a real busy signal but a circuit busy. I worked in marketing for 25 years and most of it in the phone company so I think I am right.

I got through on the 407 number but I have been on hold for quite a few minutes already. What holiday are they taking reservations for, Thanksgiving? They say they are busy due to holiday reservations being so high. They never change that message. It drives me nuts. NO holiday reservations at this time of year. At the end of the month maybe, but not now.

Okay, I got through on the 407 number and I asked if they knew their 800 service is down. They said they have been getting calls all day. She did say someone just told her that she couldn't get through on the 800 number either. Do you think this is an east coast phenomena?

No, DVC members like the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is a VERY busy time for MS.

I got through twice today, each time on the 800 number. I was auto-redialing the entire morning, took about 10 redials for each sucessful connect. After that I waited 6 minutes the first time, and 10 minutes the second time for a MS rep. She stated that this was their busiest week of the year, and that if possible, try waiting till next week to call

Anyway, everyone was pleasant, and got my ressies!

I figured the week of Christmas, not the time before, would be difficult to get. Live and learn I guess. I want to make ressies for the first week in December. Maybe I should do it a day at a time. What a pain! I miss the days when I could call up and get whatever I wanted. I guess with 70,000 members trying to get into the resorts it is going to be harder and harder to reserve a place to stay.
BTW, does anyone know what is going on January 27? I couldn't get a room at OKW or BCV for that night so I changed my flights. Just seems strange OKW would be full and BWV and VWL available. I never ever expect to get into BCV. I own there but I've only stayed there twice since it is so difficult to get into

icy-dog -- If you are looking for a standard view at BWV, day-by-day calling is the way to go (MS actually told me to do this a few years back). If you are booking something else, you should be able to do it on one call. I'd probably call 2, maybe 3, times - if it were me. Just tell MS what you are doing when making the first call. They'll hold off on sending the confirmation letter until you finish adding the rest of your nights.

I remember a few years ago that the first two weeks of Dec were reported here as being FULLY booked (for DVC) by early Feb.

I was stunned when I called this am and got the 9 nights BWV standard view for November, but that first week or two in December is a hot ticket.

I was lucky enough to get through yesterday and today on the 1800 line. I'm calling day by day for the first week in Dec. I'll be calling Thurs. Fri. and Mon. too I don't want to chance not getting in. I've got VWL for Thurs 1st through Mon. 5th. Now I just need to book BCV for Mon 5th through Sat. the 10th and all will be well

Since I had problems getting thru using the 800# yesterday morning, I did not bother this morning. I used the 407#, had to hit redial a couple of times but finally got in about 9:15 EST. I am making day by day for BWV standard. Once in, it took about 30 secs. After MS took my Mem #, she modified my reservation with the new nights - told me how many pts I would be borrowing and I was done. I still have to call friday and monday and then I will have my Dec. Reservation done. Yay!
