Well I guess this is the thread where my response belongs! I've been thinking to myself the last few days, where to respond. There are so many winning threads, or host sighting threads you know
I too am a loser
I've been on (what is it a week now for this so called Dreams event?) for all the event times, hopeful, and absolutely nothing.
Kinda makes me sad that all the hours we spend playing vmk, and no payback huh?
There's another thread about favoritism being played ... and a mention that Yavn had replied to the poll as No, there is No favoritsm. Did we actually think he would say, why Yes folks there is??
I have witnessesed some very sad behavior amongst some winners. Most noteably the new Dreams ears. Most of us losers are just curious as to where they were when they won, and when? I have heard a reply as the following "In the land of shut up and I don't care". This was while standing in Horseshoe Mercantile shop. Nice huh? Way to pick 'em vmk.
Another day I was in Fantasyland in the Sky. Now get this! This girl has been awarded Best Quest, and many other honorable mentions by the way. She just says out of the blue, taunting everyone in the room. "I have Dream ears, how about you? lol" Pretty disgusting behavior.
Remember kids play this game, and comments like this I'm sure crush them way more than hearing it as an adult. I wish I had taken pictures. But, in the awe of the moment I didn't.
I personally have seen well known players with 3 Fairy Pins and Dream ears to boot. And who knows, they could have the Castle Suite as well for all I know? Wow, the luck to a single person!
Friends and I have been talking. We feel sorry the most for the kids that have limited computer time. Maybe can't be on at all during dream event times. Sad. Very crushing to them I'm sure.
And if vmk decides to make any of the dream items tradeable. And these very lucky winners have two of dream ears or other items. Do we really think they will want anything short of Stitch or Sparrow for them??
That's sad too, as we all know they were FREE. I hope their are some wonderful hearted multiple winners out there, that will gift their friends or a deserving player with the dream items. That's what the event is supposed to be about anyway.
What have I gotten out of this? Hanging out in some spectacular rooms with great room builders. Who are wonderfull in allowing new friends to camp out and spend some time just chatting. Spending time with old friends and meeting some new ones as well. Priceless!!
It's just a shame that this event has turned very ugly, very quick. Personally, it makes me want to cut my vmk playing time down. It's obviously not appreciated. It is the players the keep the game going anyway right.
For the nice players that have won. Seriously I say Congrats! You deserve it!! Woot!
Okay that's my two cents, and I'm off my soapbox. I feel so much better venting! Thanks to anyone that cares to read my novel.
Good Luck in the future to my fellow losers! We are all winners in this, and I know all of you have a wonderful attitude, and deserve to win, and are all winners in my book.

And so very true. I've met a lot of fellow disers and non diser over this last week, (perhaps more than I have playing this entire year) and I've also had some of my best vmk times just sitting in a room goofing off with everyone. (ok grant it the lag monster is constantly after me and when he is, I just as much enjoy reading the conversations that happened half and hour before they show up for me
) If I take anything away from this Dreams Promotion it will be the wonderful new friendships I've started and continued mutual laughter and deeper friendship with old friends. That's Magic in itself.
