Haha... I've met him a couple times. He's supposed to be playing tomorrow

And 7 is our lucky number this year. We have Rick pulling for us. (Although the 7's they have painted on the ice behind each goal distract me terribly. I keep thinking there's something on the ice.)

And a lot of the guys are growing a 70s style moustache and side taps Rico style!!

They need to tighten things up in their own end and stop making dumb plays with the puck. I had to pile on the guy, but their have been times where Butler has looked clueless and watching Montador has been an adventure to say the least.

Offensively, they really haven't generated a lot if you think about it. Many of their goals have been flukey or due to bad Philly goaltending. And seriously, did Brad Boyes forget how to score? When is the last time his name has been on the scoresheet? Their late season pickups over the last few years have been complete busts.

Having said all that, I still feel ok about tomorrow night. If they get a lead, they need to find a way to hold onto it, and for once in this series, can they not come out flat to start the second period???

Sometimes they both look clueless on the ice. My DH was saying the exact same things as you. And Boyes? Is he even on the ice at all? He sure isn't making his presence known at all.

I said yesterday that they must think second period stands for nap time..and this is not just an issue in the playoffs, they never seem to give an effort for the entire game. But that said, I still think that if they put their minds to it they can win this series.

I actually did not want to go. I have been the jinx of the playoffs and yesterday just made that perfectly clear. So far if I have been there they have lost. If I've watched them on TV they have lost. The game they won in OT my radio in the car died as soon as OT started so I did not hear the winning goal. Guess what I will NOT be doing tomorrow night.

At the start of OT I told my husband I wanted to just go hide in the bathroom and he laughed at me...nope, I was right.

I still have high hopes for tomorrow and hope this team can make a strong effort..no more slacking once they are ahead. Work a little harder in their own end and show some hustle and aggression...just not stupid aggression. Take the game to the Flyers, don't let them take their game to us.

I happened to have my back turned or be out of the room for EVERY Sabres goal yesterday. I stayed in the kitchen until my cousins kept bugging me to watch the rest of overtime with them (they are my hockey buddies!). Needless to say, my DH will be watching the game and I will be in my room reading and listening to him so that I know what's going on in the game!

My aunt was singing that on Easter until my Dad made a crack about him not doing anything in the series. That stopped that!

I heard on Kiss (not super reliable) that he was suppose to play, but I haven't heard it confirmed anywhere else.

I heard on Kiss (not super reliable) that he was suppose to play, but I haven't heard it confirmed anywhere else.

Well if Kiss said it then it has to be true! My DH thinks it's a bad idea to have him come back in game 7 of all games after being out so long. I think it's great, he will be refreshed and ready to make some big plays.

Either way this is going to be another tight game, my nerves can't handle the pressure.

Now if only Briere could sustain an injury during the 1st period?

Maybe Kaleta can say more things about Hartnell's and Briere's divorce and fire them up even more!!! If Buffalo has a hard time scoring in the first period, then it is all over and the Flyers move on!!!

On second thought, let Buffalo score the first couple of goals. Then the Flyers will have them where they want them!!!!

I can't help but think about how close Buffalo was to ending this series on Sunday, with a lead late in the game. But Philly came back and then proved tonight that they are the better team.

But the Sabres were a team that was basically left for dead just after Christmas. Then they got a new lease on life with a new owner, and started playing like a team that really did belong in the playoffs.

Going forward, with the new leadership and core of young players, the Buffalo Sabres will be making noise in the Eastern Conference for some time to come. I'm looking forward to watching them; there is a lot for Sabres fans to get excited about these days.

In the meantime, congratulations to the Philadelphia Flyers, and good luck as you continue your journey towards Lord Stanley's Cup.

I'm not feeling too generous to either team right now. I did not watch the game until the last 3-4 minutes. I figured by that time it didn't matter since the team was their own jinx tonight.

SO..now we wait and see if the new owner comes through. I think it's time for Ruff and Regier to say bye bye. We need to get some players in there that will play a whole game, not skate around in their own end playing "don't touch the puck". I have not been a fan of Ruff's coaching style for a while now and I have never liked Darcy.

Oh and please don't let me hear ANY member of the organization say "the Flyers wanted it more than us"...I hate that line.
