Another NHL thread: Let's Go Buff-a-lo!!!

We have lost the last 5 games that my sister has gone to (home and away). She is no longer allowed to attend games. Fun fact and kind of off topic: There was a member of my family at every Bills Super Bowl game. My father and Aunt will never live that down.

As a side note, if I could ask for all our your support tomorrow while out Lightning try to stay alive against the Pens, that would be great! We've been at the past 2 home games - last one lost in double overtime and obviously need to win every game now....Lets go Bolts!!!

I agree, there is NOTHING in any sport that can compare to OT in the NHL playoffs. Stress levels off the charts. And I was in Pittsburgh 10 years ago for the Flyers 5OT win over the Pens, that was really something else......

I wonder if we have an epic one in store for us tonight. The Sabres have been involved in a few like that over the years.

It's stating the obvious to say that this is a HUGE game. If Philly loses, they have to play to stay alive in Buffalo. Of course if Buffalo loses, they fight for their lives on Easter Sunday for the privilege of playing a Game 7 in a very hostile environment in Philly.

Lucky! We only get to see the Sabres play live when they play the FL Panthers. You'd be surprised how many Buffalo jerseys you see at those games.

I'm the same way! I can't NOT watch though. My wife has her Sabres socks on, since, for some reason, when she wears them, the Sabres somehow know, and respond by playing better!!

By the way, I'm in Kenmore too.

It's an oldie but goodie! I am still tempted to skip easter dinner tomorrow and go to the game, stubhub still has over 700 tickets available. If I go I will have to look for topolino, you know since he will be wearing the sabres jersey and all.

That cheer is making a comeback. You'll always hear someone, usually up in the 300 level, trying to start it up, but it doesn't always catch on.

I bought my tickets off of Stubhub too. They were expensive enough for tickets in the 300 level, but after sitting for couple games in the Club Level 200 sections, I'm kind of spoiled. I couldn't bring myself to spend over $300 a ticket, though.

Lol, as far as what I'll be wearing, I may go with my Vanek "slug" jersey, with about 15 autographs on the back!!

I also have a current home Roy jersey (which he autographed for me), a 3rd (this season 40th Anniversary) Vanek jersey, and a game worn Hecht road white slug jersey. My wife will probably be wearing her autographed Gaustad or her Miller jersey.
