another new boy-oriented activity at MGM?

I don't know if anyone has posted this or not.
It seems they're planning another activity that will especially appeal to boys (though girls and adults will probably enjoy it as well). Something called the "Jedi Training Academy".

Actor Audition - Jedi Master

Disney Auditions is seeking athletic actors with strong interactive skills to portray the Jedi Master for a new experience at the Disney-MGM Studios; Temporary full time and part-time positions are available.

The Jedi Training Academy experience will allow Park Guests, young and the young-at-heart, to "Feel The Force" as the Jedi Master instructs them in the ancient art of wielding a lightsaber.

I know this was part of last year's "Star Wars Weekends" at the Studios, let's hope they're extending it through other times of the year. I know a LOT of boys (most of them are actually men, they just turn into boys when given any long cylindrical objects which can be made into lightsabres) who would love to do this!!!

As noted, this is something they have done for a couple of years with StarWars weekends in summer - the ad may be for that or an expanded version.

They had all the kids "trying out" for a chance to come up on stage. My nephew is a real SW nut and even held a mid-level belt in taekwando last time we went. He was heartbroken when he didn't make the cut. This kid has been practicing light saber technique for years - it was just sad.

given that it's for a full time position, it can't possibly be just for the star wars weekend...
so it must be something they've decided to do as a regular thing....

re-reading the ad, it could well be just for a series of weekends..
since it refers to temporary full time and part time..
the use of the word temporary would seem to indicate something more along the lines of the star wars weekends...
