Another name change!

Well today the one fear I have had came true. Now they want me to change my name! Argggg! lol
So far I have submitted tigerbella as the new name, but have also sent them a message letting them know the name was never about THEM! Sorry A.A. Milne wrote this book before Disney ever decided to make cartoons of it. And the belle part was after one of my great grandmothers. Gee!
Oh well, just letting everyone have a heads up (and to rant....)
Kim (oh no...I just realized i used the wrong word in that letter in being a bit ticked off. lol) Now the grammar police will be after me....

Being required to change my name:

I just got on the game today and received the window to change my game name. First of all I would like to respectively submit my request to have it changed back to Tiggerbelle. In my name I was not choosing to honor OR defame Disney in anyway. Tigger is one of my favorite characters from A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh series, a name I have used previously for a favorite pet of ours while growing up. He resembled Milne's Tigger, not Disney's Tigger. Also, the use of the name belle was in honor of one of my great grandmothers, one of the sweetest women a person could ever know. (And, actually i had two great grandmothers named that, it was popular in this region about that time).
If possible I would truly like for staff to review this name change and let me keep the original title I had chosen for my character.

I can tell you that it seems although they accept title with a character nameat the beginning or end, they end up making you change it.

But things like "Babypiglet" or "Tiggerbelle" don't seemed to be liked.

Try mispelling the title and you will have better luck...so TigerBella or Tiggerrrbella or something be better.

Hmm, you cannot have TiggerBelle, but the boy I saw in the VMK Gallery Yesterday had the name FunBigToy and that was okay? I am truly speechless!

Well at least the guest title didn't last too long, they've already approved the Tigerbella I requested. Now to see if they possibly change their minds about the first title.......

I did change my signature on the game though, it now says tiggerbelle!
Get it in there one way or the other......

Saying this may bring on the wraith of the VMK Name Changing but I'm upset that my title has not had a request to change, I know thats crazy but listen. Logging on yesterday I now See Shadow.Cat had to change, LunarBuddy had to change and now Tiggerbelle?!?!? Mine is "Disniplaya" and how is that not a request to change? I'm suprised ive gotten no request and in response to this VMK I don't mind that you request mine to be changed since I was a mindless 13 year old when I made it but don't ask Players who have pure Disney titles.. its just wrong

I totally agree. It is a kids game, Disney game no doubt. So what about those poor kids who try to use a Disney title, they get tired of being creative and get the random titles. I just pity the poor kid who gets the title of "GreenSpaceGas".

Ah I'm sorry you had to change your name. Seems like I've seen several on my friends list lately having to change their name and it seems ridiculous!

Does anyone know if they have ever told us what it is about the names that they don't like? Is it using Disney characters? (which I think is crazy since this is a Disney game). I'm just wondering what it is. The least they could do is give everyone a good explanation as to why so many are having to change their names. So far all the names I've seen that they are asking to be renamed are G Rated so I don't get why. I could understand if the name implied something R Rated. I think their time could be better spent elsewhere in the game.

There are many reasons why a name must be changed. It could be because
it appears to reveal personal details about you/your child, because it

Sorry, I'm not trying to be too sarcastic, it's just I see VMK players with what appears to be their actual name and yet these obvious made-up names get targeted first. I see first names with what appears to be a last initial, for example let's say Jane Doe goes around with JaneD as her VMK name...looks far more personal to me than tiggerbelle.
