We are going to Myrtle Beach with another couple, no children. Yeah!

Just a few questions:

Are there Golf packages that can be bought?

Restaurants that you can recommend?

Recommendations for things to do besides the beach? when you need a break or at night.

Things for us women to do while the guys are golfing.

Thanks:goodvibes

golf packages can usually be obtained by your hotel or resort (unless you are renting through an owner)

restaurants - if you like seafood, try Crabby Mike's, Captain George's, or Original Benjamins... lots of good restaurants at the places below too

shopping/things to do besides the beach - Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, Coastal Grand Mall, Tanger Outlets, The Market Common, Alligator Adventure, Ripley's Aquarium

hope that helps

I have recommended this before -

DH and I went this past March so not much was open in the way of attractions. We really enjoyed Broadway at the beach. Lots of shopping and places to eat. Small aquarium that we enjoyed for a few hrs. There'a a Joe's Crab Shack there and we had a good meal there. Get a Steam Pot!

Also right across the street is a Brazillian Place called Rios. The waiters dress as Gauchos, and parade around the room with skewers of meats tht they carve tableside. You have a red/green coaster that you flip to red when you want to take a break! Food was delicious, and the salad bar is included with the meal or you can purchase that separately. It's humungeous! Dessert is to die for too so leave room. Well worth the $$ for the experience alone.

Crabby Mikes is also :thumbsup2

Plenty of shopping malls to occupy yourselves when the guys are golfing.
Or stroll the beach and pop into a beachside cafe for lunch and a drink.

There's a midevil show, and also Opry (can't remember the name off hand)

For a fun lunch with spectacular views, Dead Dog Saloon, close to Crazy Sister Marina. Sit outside on left facing the inlet for a good view of Goat Island (yes there really are goats). Enjoy a stroll on the Marshwalk before or after eating. There are lots of good restaurants with a view, but our go to is Dead Dog. For quiet evening dinner, can be kinda pricey, Russells is great, outside deck has view, even though on right side of road at end of Inlet. Lots of fun and action in evening on Marshwalk, Dead Dog does Monday night fireworks at 9 during summer. Other restaurants we like are Drunken Jack's, Dave's Dockside and Creekratz. Eating in the Inlet for us, is all about the view, food has to be good, but without the view, its just food, so number one recommendation is eat at a restaurant on the marshside.

Benny Rappas, it 1s North of Barefoot Landing on the right hand side of the road. It looks like a hole in the wall but has phenomenal Italian food.

Spending our last night in Myrtle Beach. :( Ate today at our favorite restaurant-The Sea Captain's House. Great food!

We are about an hour from Myrtle Beach and we love Miyabi's Japanese. It's between Murrells Inlet and Garden City.
