Another MVMCP question

Ok, now I'm totally confused. AllEars is claiming that some things associated with MVMCP only run during December, and that even more things only go on starting in mid-December (such as the Very Merry Christmas Parade). So if we were to buy a ticket to go at the end of November, and so much of this stuff doesn't start until December, what exactly ARE we paying for? Here is the link I was reading, with the info I'm referring to being just below the dates:

Sorry to be such a bother. I really do think Disney should post more information on this event on their website.

The special shows and Christmas Parade are at all the MVMCP but will be available in the parks during the day beginning in mid-December. Up until that point the only way to see these special things is at the party. There are other perks of the party too (snow on Main St., hot cocoa & cookies, family picture, limited # tix sold, etc).

We have attended this party 5 times and will be there again this year, we love it!

Rumor has it no more free family photo.

MVMCP parties in Nov and Dec are the ONLY place to see the Christmas parade, Christmas fireworks, and Christmas shows.

They switch to day time after the last party.

To dispell this rumor - I received our tickets for the 12-21-06 MVMCP and the letter states that you are entitled to a souvenir photo.

That's great news! Someone had posted that it would only be 50% off one photo via Photopass. He never did say where he got that info.
