We are planning on doing the MK/Epcot photo shoot, and all along I was planning on doing it the morning after the wedding. We are having a late reception that won't end until at least 11. Then it dawned on me, why not just do it the NEXT day. This way we can sleep in and relax the morning after the wedding. Has anyone else done this? If so how did it work out. Also, what happens if it rains? Do they let you reschedule for another day if it's available?

I guess I'm confused by the question (but it is a rainy monday and I'm only on my first diet pepsi). Are you asking is it possible to do it the two days after the wedding or actually during the day, the day after your wedding.

If you are actually looking to do the photoshoot during the day, I think the issue for MK would be the time as the photos have to be before the park opens. That might also be the issue for the Epcot shoot. I know they have to be pretty darn early as well.

But anything that doesn't make me have to get up at the butt crack of dawn, gets an A in my book!

My MK shoot is scheduled two days after the wedding. The only issue with that is you will probably need a floral refresh. But it's very possible.

I'm planning to have my MK photo shoot 2 days after my wedding too....I didn't want to have to get up super early as my first morning as a newlywed :rotfl:

How is everyone scheduling their hair/makeup? While some of the local vendors do amazing work, I wasn't sure if they would travel that early.

I just had my hair trial with Patricia and she was more than willing to come to do my hair and makeup at 4am so I can be ready at 6am.

Same with Ana, her team is coming at 4am to do mine the day after my wedding.

Thanks ladies! I am actually planning on doing my own hair and makeup for the wedding and MK shoot so no worries there, and I also think I am going to make my own bouquet out of "fake" flowers, so I won't have to worry about that either. I am excited I can sleep in the morning after!

We also did an MK shoot two mornings after the wedding. Your wedding planner will help you cordinate your flower pick up. Mostly times they picked them up at the reception. We did a Boardwalk photo shoot after the wedding so I keep mine and the florial department pick up the flowers there. They re-freshed the flowers and they were at MK when we got there for the photo shoot.

For hair and make up Anna came back at 4:00 am to re-do the make up and hair. She was great. Hair and make-up came out looking the same which is nice in the photo album.

My husband was a not so into the MK shoot to start with. The early hour really got him. But he said afterwards it was one of the funnest things he has done. We really had a great time, laughing with our photographer. There is no pressure, since its just you and your husband and the photographer. It was well worth the early hour to do hair and make up.

This is exacty what we are planning on doing. I want to either use a fake or a succulent bouquet so no worries there but I'll need to get my hair and makeup done again.

I am actually doing my Epcot photo shoot two days BEFORE my wedding. We are having our ceremony on a Saturday evening and we are leaving for the Disney Cruise Sunday morning so we opted to do our shoot on the Thursday morning prior to the wedding. I am going to buy an inexpensive 2nd dress to wear for the shoot and will be having a completely different hair and makeup look so when I walk down the aisle it will still be a surprise.

I originally wanted to have the MK and Epcot shoot the day after our wedding but when I went to book I was told that as I was getting married 2nd of July I couldn't have it untill the 7th of July as the 4th of July weekend will mean the shoots aren't running. Now I'm quite looking forward to the lie in after the wedding! I've booked hair and makeup for the morning of the 7th so that I will look the same as I did on the actual wedding day.
