Another meet for New England DISers

is it for adults only if it is i wont go if it is for both i will ask my mum and dad to take me and tleylo

Marcm, it's in New England in the U.S., not in England. Sorry. :(

But if you and your mom could fly over here, you'd be more than welcome to come ;)

Hmm...i would love to go, only two hours from my sister's in mass. My mom been dying to go to a dis meet. Let me check with them, though it still far away, and right now they are concerned for the cruise coming up. For my mom anything to get up to mass to get to a christmas tree shop.....

Excellent, Jellyrolls! I've been WAITING for another Dis Meet! WOOT! We will all be there - Blue, Pink, DarthJordan, PhantomofB, and my 16 yo who is going to DIE having to be dragged to a VMK/DIS Meet! I may have to arrange for him to go to a friend's house....

I would love to go...if more vmk/dis'ers go lol. I looked at the list as it is now on the other thread and I don't know anyone on there expect one ;) lol. If more vmk/dis'ers go, I will talk to my family about it and see if there is a chance we will be going. I would love to meet you all!

Ooh, I live maybe 15 miles from Canobie! I think I can go to the meet unless something more urgent pops up. Not to be a downer but my father is dying. Canobie is always more fun than a funeral, hopefully I won't have to skip the gathering for one.

Thoughts and prayers for your dad, qruthie. I know how difficult that is. If you need to talk, you know where to find me.

Yes, just follow the boogie brick road! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Seriously, thank you for your thoughts and prayers. My dad has emphysema (spelling?) and probably doesn't even have the strength to blow his boogies anymore. I guess it's a real chore just to get dressed. My mother called me Friday night because she feels like he could go any day now. On the other hand, he's a fighter and could last months. He's only 67. :sad2:

Anyway, Canobie is much more fun, even the Turkish Twist. I wish they'd let the riders turn upside down on it though. :thumbsup2 I did buy some industrial strength bras in preparation for riding wooden coasters so I should be able to enjoy the Yankee Cannonball. :banana: :banana: :banana: :banana: I will not go on the Ferris Wheel or the Paratroupers though.

I haven't been in the Canobie area lately. There was some nasty flood damage on Route 28 but that's all I know. If you take I-93, Exit 2 is usually the better exit to take. I'll have to take a ride down there and check it out to be sure. Sounds like a good excuse to take my son sometime after the 20th if it's not raining.

He is so young! {{qruthie & family}}

Thanks for bumping, qruthie! The time is almost here :)

Anybody else in the area going to be able to make it? :teeth:

I hope to be there. My son may go too.
