I watched a YouTube video last night on MB usage. It looked to be that
1- you could get regular FP the day that your planning to use it
2- and put it on your MB.
1- So your going to either have to plan your fast passes 60 days in advance or
2- your not going to be able to use fast pass?
So your going to either have to plan your fast passes 60 days in advance or your not going to be able to use fast pass? I'm going 10/26-11/2 and I have the MBs. I'm not setting up FP times. Ill use the KTTW cards for this trip. I have no idea what parks were doing when while we're down there.

With that being said, when FP+ goes live (which is rumored to be on November 1st), you will not be able to get regular FP anylonger if you planned FP+.
I am not sure if I believe this. The reason being hoppers. Why would anyone hop if you have to stand in nasty lines in park #2? I suspect (or at least hope) they will have some sort of system in place for people who hop.

I think just the opposite. I think FP+ will ENCOURAGE hoppers.
Park #1 in the AM - early/RD - ride what is important, then tour at leisure
Park #2 in the PM - arrive for FP+ selections for "headliners", then tour at leisure.
At least, that's what I'm planning, and what it appears many are also planning to do. It's the best of both worlds: RD touring, and late arrival with FP in hand touring.
Why would you not use the FP+ and take advantage of some of the great opportunities, such as reserved seating on select nights at Wishes! Nighttime Spectacular, Main Street Electrical Parade, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth and Fantasmic! The MB will only improve your overall experience!

For me, at least, there is a lot more "taking away" than "giving" in this whole scheme.
For our situation (two little kids), we'd rather ride things once and move on. We sometimes head to swim/rest/relax at our resort before changing parks. Then again, we're going for 10 days, so we just don't like to spend a whole day in one park. And, the youngest always naps on the bus or boat.I understand this plan. But why not just stay in the same park and apply this timing? Say FP+ reservations for Soarin' 5P, TT 7P, Maelstrom 9P. Meanwhile, still get there at RD & do things twice. (This is just an example.)
And it's genuinely a gentle question. I've been known to lose an hour hopping and no longer go for hoppers. I'm trying to figure out if I should go back to them.![]()
