Another Mardi Gras Question

If the park closes at 8:00p.m. on Saturday,March 24th. Does that mean Mardi Gras starts at 8:00p.m. or does it mean that Mardi Gras ends at 8:00p.m. when the park closes?

It means the parade will start at 8P and the concert that follows around 8:30

Do people eat dinner before or after the parade and concert? Where?

I think people can eat dinner during the event. All attractions close at 8 PM. However, the parade and concert goes on after 8 pm. April 7 and 14 the attractions close at 10, therefore making the parade and concert start at 9 and 930 respectively.
