Woooaaahhh!
Thanks for taking us along with your magical trip report, it was 'Almost' like having been there too.
The most snow I've ever seen anywhere was in the Lake Tahoe area. We drove from Reno to a ski resort called Sierra and although this isn't my picture, this is what it was like:
Indy's a pretty cool place and you're within driving distance to Chicago (just under 3 hours), and less than two hours to Cincinnat and Louisville Bonus you can sell parking places for the Indy 500 in your front yard!Just a quick update on my life. Youngest DS (one who lands planes in Ohio ) is now moving to Indianapolis in two weeks.

....and they are closer to us by almost an hour!!
I don’t know. It’s not like that here. The picture (although I googled it because our visit was years ago pre-digital photography) is from the Lake Tahoe area. I’ve never in my life before or since seen conditions like it.OK, just looking at the pic gives me claustrophobic vibes let alone actually driving thru that!! Ronandannette, does that all actually melt over the summer months??
PollyannaMom, I look forward to reading your TR when I have a quiet moment where I can savor all the great Disney experiences you had!
Just a quick update on my life. Youngest DS (one who lands planes in Ohio ) is now moving to Indianapolis in two weeks. So I have been very busy conversing with him and "looking" via Zillow at many of the homes in that area he would be willing to rent with his wife and our 2 and half old granddaughter. He got the call to this new job March 7 and has to report March 17!!! DH will be going down to assist in the move. So it's been a very crazy few days around here!!
Hey that could reduce your flight time by...several minutes?....and they are closer to us by almost an hour!!
They're moving on St Patrick's Day??? That's gotta be good luck!I just realized in the post from yesterday it's not two weeks it's literally just this week! I was thinking we had another Sunday before the 17th. Big duh!!!!!
Is he going to be working ATC at the Indianapolis airport?OK, just looking at the pic gives me claustrophobic vibes let alone actually driving thru that!! Ronandannette, does that all actually melt over the summer months??

Awww!!!! Super cute! Thanks for the cheery photo.
I'm still recovering from Pi Day and reminding myself to "Beware the Ides of March".
What is everyone doing for St. Patrick's Day? We'll wear green and I'll make soda bread - or buy it from Trader Joe's if they have any left because theirs tastes so much better than mine. We have a severe shortage of Irish pubs around here, so we may just have a green themed meal at home. Spinach quiche and salad might work.
Wishing everyone a very happy weekend!
I would love to make a corned beef brisket! Of course I'd have to eat all of it myself (no other fans in the family) so that's probably not gonna happen.I will be putting on a corned beef brisket,
