Another lovely day in Oklahoma. . .

Ugh. . . hungover this morning.

I need to find some more rum or a pile of lions to kick. . .

;)

Here, sorry for lateness.

We're ready for this heat dome to leave the area. 95 and 110 right now. Supposed to get worse before the end of the week. I'm waiting for the ground to just burst into flames. I actually drank my morning coffee iced today. First time ever having iced for my morning brew. Afternoons, sure, but I usually prefer normal coffee in the am.

I am seriously sick of the heat and have at least another month of it. :(

Yes! I've updated my stroppy thread.

And the rum should have been water - I must have gotten a little confused ;)

Here's some breakfast Jo. . . in case you're feeling a little stroppy this morning again. ;)

@King Schultz i had to come here and tell you..we were just under a tornado warning!! It was 43C with the humidity..I think the conversion chart said that was 109F. The sky was pitch black and the wind was a blowin'. The temperature dropped 13C in less than 5 minutes. The storm lasted a good hour but the tornado stayed away from the city. I know that's a good thing but a tiny, skinny one touched down about three hours away from me. We did get recorded wind speeds of 100km though..Now the sky is an eerie yellow colour with a bit of leftover thunder and most of the city is waiting for our power to come back on. It was pretty exciting :yay:

Did you see cow????

Debris???

"It's right in front of you Jo!!"

;)

Glad you're okay Kim. . . they are exciting as long as they don't actually hit. . .

:D

We might finally get our first actual 100 degree day tomorrow. It has been 99 many times and it's fun to watch the weather guys squirm. We always seem to get a breeze or sudden rain that saves us but it looks pretty hopeless now.

I'm starting to hate summer.

Looks like Friday for our 2nd legit 100 degree day, but the humidity is supposed to be down so it might actually feel cooler than it has been.

It took three hours but we just got our power back. I hope no one thinks I'm making light of tornados. I've seen videos of damage and obviously it's devastating, so please don't think I think it's a game. I know how real it is.

I never thought that for a second. . . I trust you and you're my buddy. :)

I'm glad you got your power back on and you're okay.

(((hugs))). :)

I've heard there is no judgement on this thread...

That's good, but I can see how someone who's lost their home to a tornado might not find the experience as exciting as I do. Just like someone might find the thought of skiing and sledding in -40 exciting..id be ok...from a distance maybe LOL
