I know this gets asked here all the time, so please forgive me for asking this again... We are going to Ft Wilderness for the first time in mid April, after Easter week. We have a premium site booked. We are staying 7 nights in a TT with our 7 kids, ages 17, 16, 14, 10, 7, 5, and 18 months. My parents will be with us as well in their own TT. We will be in the parks all but 1 day. We won't have a golf cart or bikes for everyone. We want to enjoy the beach area and the pool, along with everything else. Lol! Noise doesn't bother us, so we aren't looking for a quiet area. Loop suggestions?? Thank you so much for your help!! :)

1400 would put you right by the pool and all the activities. 600 is close to the pool area and a short distance to the beach.

The 600 has a canal on one side and the road on the other. 1400 has a canal on one side and not the other. It has has an inner loop with no canal. With the little ones I thought you may not want to be near the canal.

We love 1400, it really is for us a very convenient loop. I think it would be good for your kids ages too.

We are staying at the same time! I have stayed in before and requested the 500 loop for our next trip. We have no golf cart either and walk or bike everywhere.

What I found in the 500 is that from the loop entrance it is a very short walk to the settlement for boats etc. There is also no sites behind the comfort station in loop 500 and it is cleared out so you can take a "short cut" to the outer road to walk or bike to the meadows area.

500 is premium and pet friendly.

Maybe we will see y'all there! 77 days!! :)

The 900 loop is across from the Pool and Meadows trading post, you could ride a bus to the beach, your kids would probably enjoy the pool more as you cant swim in the lake any more, the pool was recently redone with kids area and slide. After many, may years of going this is now our favorite loop, check out the FW on google maps to get a good view of the Fort, and enjoy.
