ANother life is to short post from ME

tonight is a benefit for a young man and his family.......he is the father of three kids......the youngest in grade school........his wife works very hard ........they had discovered that he has a brain tumor that is cancerous.......they cannot remove it because it is to close to the brain.....the outlook is not good......of course the social security has not kicked in yet and it is very difficult to have one income for five people.......so when some of you sit here and moan and groan about stupid stuff......remember others in this great country that are way worse off then we all are......just stop and think and be happy .....that is what life should be about....

We all need reminders sometimes not to let trivial stuff overtake what's really important in life.
I will keep this family in my thoughts pumba!

We just went through this same thing with a family in our area. You're right...life is too short. Saying a prayer for this family. Hoping they get through it with grace and strength.

You got that right. I just lost one of my best friends, a week ago today, to cancer. She fought hard for a year and a half, but lost the battle. She left behind a husband and two sons. She was only 45. I lost my brother, two and a half years ago, to cancer also. He was only 39. So sad...

and that was what prompted this post as a starter.I didnt' want to discuss it and still don't wish to.....then the young man with three kids that is going to die........I wish you all could just take a look at OUR lives.....it is not here on this computer....it is in our living room in our homes...in our childrens lives and homes......life IS to short.....
