For our March 15th cruise our DD will have turned 13 on Feb 3rd. Her best friends family might be taking the same cruise. Problem is even though they are in the same grade the best friend will not turn 13 until June 7th. I understand that the best friend will not be able to attend common grounds. Is there a chance they would let our DD attend the kids club area with her best friend or will they say no since she will have just turned 13?
The best friends family is waiting for an answer to this important question before they secure a reservation.

They will definitely let the 13-year-old go down in age groups to the 10-12 group to be with her friend, if that's what they want to do. :)

Thanks Michelle,
That is great news. Now our 10 1/2 year old will have friends to play with. I will let our DD best friends family know that our DD will be able to join her friend in the kids club. Do we just make that request when they sign up the kids? Should we call ahead of time and tell them we want our13 year old in the kids club?

Just request it when you sign up the kids for the programming.

Enjoy! :)
