Had a great time and will do some trip reports. Highlights were V&A, AKL, very low crowds in the parks(Disney and Universal). Downside was the 24 hour delay on the way home and the appaling treatment from TCD, but that uis another story (fom a fromer TCD supporter).

Fav quote from an American on the way to V&A, when other half was dressed up "Gee, they must be British, he's wearing a tie!"

Glad you had a lovely time and looking forward to reading all about it. The delay with TCD was no fun. From what I have read if TCD are going to experience a delay it is usually a long one. At least it was when you were coming home, I would hate it more if it were at the start of the holiday.

Hi Terri
We got back last Monday and are definitely still recovering. We went with TCD and I am still a supported of them but despite a great trip out and great holiday, we had a nightmare flight back last Sunday/Monday. We had paid for extra leg room, which we got on the way out, but on the way back they substituted an AA plane (which we have heard all about before!) and we had less room than everybody else. We are still aching all over as the seats were very narrow as well - definitely upgrade completely next time
Will also do a report when I feel better - I have complained and await a response (have received acknowledgment)

Possibly. However TCD appear to inflict such delays far more frequently than anyone else. That is the problem.
