OK...after hearing about the Sit N Stands on the DIS, I went to look at both today.

Joovy-
We liked the compactness of the Joovy. My DD- almost 4 didn't seem to mind the sliding seat and there seemed to be more height for standing. However, the front seat (for dd1) seemed a bit narrow. Also it seemed to have a lot of metal parts that had to be manipulated/hooked/unhooked separately. It was nice and light, easy to remove tray/suncover, and looked cool!

Baby Trend-

Seemed really hard to finish folding. It was easy to start to collapse, but seemed to catch on the suncover and tray. The suncover stuck up when it was folded and seemed awkward. It had a wider seat for both children. It was a bit longer though...but it had cupholders! It also seemed heavier and bulkier all around. It was a bit cheaper...but with Babies R Us coupons, that should be neglible.

So...I can't decide what to do....or if I even need one. DD3 (almost 4- next month) can be forced to walk, but she does want to ride sometimes. It was nice to be able to have one parent move both children (as opposed to one stroller and one kidpack) with ease. Also, dd3 could get off and on with ease (she wouldn't "run"). What are your thoughts? What advice can you offer me? Are my impressions correct?

I recently found out about these sit and stand strollers, too. I went to Babies R Us and tried my kids (2 and almost 5) in the Joovy Caboose, and they loved it. I went ahead and bought one of the Joovy strollers. I've taken them on a walk in it. Our road is crowned, and the stroller steers so easily that I had a hard time keeping the stroller going straight. And it is fairly heavy, but any stroller other than an umbrella stroller would be, too.

I've read reviews of the two strollers you talked about, and the overall impression was that the Joovy was very high quality, lifetime warranty, etc. Great customer service. The Baby Trend one was shoddily made and more bulky. I read a lot on Amazon.com's reviews and some other places.

Good luck with your decision! I would recommend a stroller at Disney World, knowing what other people have recommended. It's a small price to pay to ensure you'll enjoy yourself (and be able to go faster) more.

I had a sit n Stand for my girls (7 years ago) when they first came out. It was great for home and the mall. But I would never take it to Disney. It was too heavy to be lugging on the buses or any other transportation. It seemed better when my youngest was an infant. We always just rented a stroller. It was easier( definately more expensive though)
