another itunes ?

Alright this is an odd one for me. I logged on to my itunes account tonight-I notice that I have someones shared music library in my account. What the heck? It gives me the first and last name-and her 1400 songs. I have no idea who it is or how it got in my account. Any ideas? I'll email itunes, but I've learned that they just give an automated answer that doesn't always help in the situation.

as an fyi- I don't share music with anyone-I'm the only person who uses my laptop my husband shares the itunes account, but also has no idea how it got there.

I can see my brother's library.... Because he has it 'shared' and we are both on the same home network. Do you share internet with anyone?

Not normally--however could it be when I've gone to a hotel and used their internet?
I'm actually at a hotel now-could this person be here and "sharing" with the entire hotel?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that there is a way to block other people's shared music and videos from showing up in your itunes. I think I remember doing this a few years ago. It was actually really easy, just checking a box in a preference section if I remember correctly. I would check the help section in your itunes.

okay we're back from the hotel and her info is gone from itunes. Soooo it must have been someone at the hotel who was sharing. Certainly was new to me-I know my computer is set to "not share" I'll have to see about blocking others from sharing with me. I would think people wouldn't want their info out there, but perhaps this person didn't realize what they were doing either.
