another HOJO question-queen rooms

since I wasn't able to get the kids suite for our dates in july I am looking at the queen deluxe and queen premium..not the queen standard. It looks like the deluxe is in bldg 2 and premium is bldg 1. Which one has the quieter area? I have read alot of people like bldg 2 but its the farthest. Any idea how much farther?

Also which one is the bldg you can see the fireworks from? is that Bldg 1 and if so how bad is the noise factor?

I have asked these questions and from what I can tell you can see the FW from premium rms bldg 1 and someone told us you can see them from bldg 2 at the quiet pool area.

I am sure someone else knows more, just my 2 cents

We stayed on the bottom floor of Bldg 1 and never heard any freeway or people noise!

Can't help ya about the fireworks, we watched themin the park not from our room!

We are going in April so I will post when I get back about the room we stayed in. We are doing the Premium rooms with a view and are just a little concerned about freeway noise because of what some have said.

I tried but couldn't get the dlx room in bldg. 2 on ENT. Rate which is the one everyone says it the quietest. So if you can get that one then go for it.

We have had a NQQ1 in building 1 with a view of the park (3rd floor). Anyway, we heard no street noise and it was very quiet. Well, except for the fireworks, but you hear those anywhere around DL!

We stayed in Bldg 1, premium Disney view last summer. Our room had a great view of the fireworks (we could even see a bit of Fantasmic & WoC). We were on the 4th floor.....but our 2nd room which was right next door had trees blocking their view. So it will depend where you end up. We were in the corner room (left off the elevator)....perfect room, quiet, great view!!

Great I would love to hear abut your experience! I just booked 2 Premium rooms for our trip. As much as I was tempted to do the Deluxe Queen in BLDG 2...I went for the closeness of Bldg 1 to the pirate cove, closer for walking and the disney view.

Thanks for all the input! I am excited! Now that the airfare and room are all booked I can start planning the fun stuff!!!
