Another Hertz Gold question

Booked our car hire for December in the Hertz sale using my Gold membership. It's the first time I have used this and will need to add DH as an additional driver. Do I need to go to the desk or can it be done at the garage?

Never tried myself but found this is Gold Rewards section:

Please note that the 25% discount on child seats and the free additional driver are not automatically added to your reservation.
To claim these member benefits please inform our customer service representatives either at the counter, for online reservations, or over the phone, for telephone bookings.

We've just used our Gold Membership for the first time this August.

It was easy peasy.

Simply go to the office within the garage, hand in your reservation details, they'll take a quick copy of both your DH's driving license together with yours and your off.

When we arrived at our bay in the special Gold Members section my name was shown above in lights, amazing service would love to use them every year, just very rarely find them competitive enough.
